Profile Technical translation (mainly in IT), English into Swedish
Background I have university degrees in English as well as Computer Engineering. During my studies I worked summers as a translator, and since the summer of 2005, I am a full-time freelancer. I have translated and proofread texts such as web sites, manuals and software for a variety of different companies, for instance Microsoft, Symantec, Nokia, Motorola and Siebel.

I have mainly translated texts in IT, but also mobile phone manuals and other types of technical texts.

Since I also have experience in programming, I have no problems translating texts mixed with code of some sort, for example HTML. Also, if the need should arise, I am available for basic programming in HTML and PHP.

Rates My rates vary depending on the type and amount of text. Generally I can say that the more work you can send my way, the lower my rates will be.
